Education Hour for Adults and Children:  Sundays at 10:30

"No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here."

We are a progressive, open and affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ, rooted in God's love, mercy and justice.

We are a community of growing families, couples and singles, kids and teens, young adults, mid-lifers  and grandparents... and we celebrate our diversity of spiritual background, sexual orientation, race and abilities.

Until it is safe to gather in person again, we are celebrating and connecting virtually.  We hope you will find music that is inspiring, sermons that are relevant and a community that is genuinely welcoming.

Welcome to CHUCC!  We're glad you are here.

From the Mission Committee:

Lift Every Voice Oregon (LEVO) is announcing their first End Gun Violence Sabbath of 2022 and a way to take action.

WHO:  Lift Every Voice Oregon (LEVO) is a coalition of faith-based communities: Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, and other people of goodwill.

Their grassroots organization, run primarily by volunteers, is advocating for safer schools, houses of worship, and communities.

WHAT:  Lift Every Voice Oregon (LEVO)  has two Initiative Petitions (IP17 and IP18) calling for a ban on the future sale of semi-automatic assault weapons and ammunition magazines over 10 rounds.

These initiatives require full completion of the background check and a issuing of a permit before acquiring any gun.

HOW:  Print and Sign from Home
Registered voters can simply print, sign and mail in their signed sheets for Initiative Petitions 17 and 18.

Just go to this page on the LEVO website and follow the easy instructions:  https://www.lifteveryvoiceoregon.com/sign-ips-from-home.

We invite you to light a candle with us during the Passing of the Peace

January 16

Creator God, you came to be among us in order to demonstrate that life lived in your presence is a life of service and commitment to others. In trusting our lives to you we discover a life of abundant love.

As we gather together, may our worship generate works of service in our lives as we seek to be your people.

May we recognize our special calling and our unique responsibilities as we follow the way of Jesus, whom we call Lord.  Amen.

We offer several different ways to make your offering:
