~ Christ Path Yoga ~
Christ Path Yoga is open to everyone of all yoga levels and all spiritual practices.
A gentle combination of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga styles, Christ Path Yoga subtly supports a mystical Christian practice, emphasizing the use of breath to bring us into deeper communion with the Self and the Divine.

~ Current Events Group ~
The current events group uses non-fiction literature to explore moral and ethical issues that affect our daily lives. Currently we are reading Colin Woodard’s book American Nations to investigate and understand the roots of our current polarized political world.
The book begins with the settlement of America and explains how the differences in culture and values of those who settled our country reflect the differences and the partisanship we currently feel. The differences found between the slaveholders of the South, the Scots Irish libertarian settlers of Appalachia stand in marked contrast to the pacifism of the settlers of Pennsylvania and the religious zealots of New England.
We are their ancestors and are dealing with the values they brought from the different parts of England and Western Europe. Join us as we seek insight into our world.
~ Exploring the Bible ~
If you like the Bible the background section of our regular worship, you will appreciate the Listen Up! study guides we use for 6-week explorations of books in the Bible.
We prepare ahead by with short readings from the study guide and Bible, then share our personal understanding and the messages the Bible has for us and the church today.
Meetings are 90-minutes. It’s a good idea to join us at the beginning of a series.
~ Exploring the Spirit ~
Each month the church focuses on a different spiritual practice. This monthly session introduces the practice with explanation and a short chance to practice.
Zoom sessions start at 7:00p.m. (PT) and are often less than an hour.
~ God At Work - Men’s Group ~
The God At Work Men's Group was started to explore spirituality and meaning in our professional and personal lives.
We follow a book study format with a preference on contemporary works grounded in the Christian tradition. We also try out spiritual practices from our tradition such as mediation, Lectio Divina, Examen, and others.
We're open to new ideas and new members. If you are looking to learn more about incorporating spiritual practices into your daily life or if you are looking for deeper connections to people within the church, check us out.

~ Life Stories ~
Life Stories are interviews with individuals or couples as they share their stories with the church.

~ Meditation Group ~
Our weekly meditation group is focused on listening to guided meditation practices from various traditions, using recordings by well-known spiritual teachers. Sessions last about 45 minutes and include relaxing music, guided practice, and silence.
We use this time to focus prayer concerns as well. No meditation experience is required and anyone may join at any time.
~ Racial Justice and Equity Book Group ~
Each month, the group meets to discuss the book of the month. Books are announced in the church newsletter and anyone who has read the book and wishes to discuss it is invite.

~ Tai Chi ~
This class is appropriate for anyone who can stand upright. No experience is necessary.
The CHUCC Tai Chi class will teach the foundations of how to move in a Tai Chi way. In this class we aim to improve our balance and flexibility, learn mindful motion, integrate and coordinate moving hand, feet and body simultaneously all while getting a gentle workout.
We will do warm ups and learn an eight move Tai Chi form that will introduce you to all the benefits Tai Chi has to offer.

~ Women’s Faith Exchange ~
The Women's Faith Exchange (WFE) is a group of women who come together for fellowship, support, and discussions on various topics. We choose books which offer a variety of spiritual and religious perspectives to guide our conversations.
We are a welcoming and light hearted group who welcome anyone who would like to connect with others on a more personal level.
