Advent and Christmas Events at Cedar Hills UCC

Our spiritual practice for the month:

Play “Spiritual I-Spy” with your children, your family, yourself. Ask yourself two questions: Where did I see God today? Where did someone see God in me today?

Your children may have heard Mr. Rogers or Daniel Tiger remind them “Look for the wow that’s happening now.”

Especially for Children

*Remember to color your Jesse Tree Stained Glass pictures and put them in your windows.  Send us a picture if you can, and we’ll show them in worship

*Remind your grownups to light the candles in your Advent Wreath... maybe at meals?

*You have your own mini-flannel board manger scene this year.  Who needs to be at the manger?  What animals need to be there?

*What can you draw or paint or create to put on our new Children’s Peace Banner for the church?  We’ll put your pieces together to make the new banner in the new year.
