A blessed Christmas season to you all!

"No matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here."

We are a progressive, open and affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ, rooted in God's love, mercy and justice.

We are a community of growing families, couples and singles, kids and teens, young adults, mid-lifers  and grandparents... and we celebrate our diversity of spiritual background, sexual orientation, race and abilities.

Join us for worship and celebration in person on Sundays, via livestream on our YouTube channel, and on Wednesday evenings, when we share a brief Vespers service on Facebook.

We look forward to meeting you!  No matter how you join us, we hope you will find music that is inspiring, sermons that are relevant, and a community that is genuinely welcoming.

Welcome to CHUCC!  We're glad you are here.

Please add "Special Offering Winter 2022" to the memo of your check or online contribution.

UCC Christmas Fund

For over 100 years, The Christmas Fund has been caring for active and retired clergy and lay employees of the United Church of Christ.

Contributions to the fund provide emergency grants, supplementation of small annuities and health premiums, and Christmas “Thank You” gift checks each December to our lower-income retirees.

Western Farm Workers Association

WFWA is a free and voluntary, private, unincorporated membership association run by and for the farm workers and other low-income workers in Washington County.

WFWA fights to end the problems of low income, unemployment, rising cost of food, clothing, utilities, and other necessities that plague our low-paid farm worker members.

William Walker Elementary Backpack Program

Every 2 weeks, this program delivers bags of food to our neighborhood elementary school, for distribution to families experiencing food scarcity.  The bags supplement food over the weekends, when children don’t have access to school-provided meals.

This year we’re delivering bags to 5 families - and afterschool snacks for 11 kids experiencing housing instability or homelessness.  Learn more here.

We invite you to light a candle with us during the Passing of the Peace

December 25th

O Spirit of the Shepherd God,

Bend over us, as angels brushing low.

Open our eyes to the splendor!

Call us to rise to our feet, as the shepherds rose out of awe, rising into the peace and favor of God.

Then send us, too, seeking Christ in humble places.

We offer several different ways to make your offering:
