Mission Committee

About the Mission Committee

CHUCC's Mission Committee works to identify and support opportunities to act as God's body within the community.

To accomplish this, we engage with a wide variety of local, national and international non-profit organizations that serve and advocate for communities and populations in need.  We also support two permanent subgroups that focus on specific issues related to Racial Justice & Equity and Immigrant Justice.

The Mission Committee also coordinates Quarterly Special Offerings and organizes a variety of events throughout the year to support advocacy and hands-on work for our identified priorities of Hunger, Housing and Community Services.

Special Offerings and Projects

The Mission Committee coordinates several group projects and partnership events throughout the year.

These events provide critical financial and hands-on support for a wide range of organizations that serve communities and advocate for hunger, housing and other critical services in our local, national and international communities.
