Serve: Serve the World

We believe that our mission as Christians is to be the hands of God in the world. Some ways we serve include supporting a transitional home for women and families, providing weekend food and gifts in the holiday season to families in need at a nearby elementary school, and growing food in our church garden to feed the hungry.

Twice a year, we have a clothing and blanket drive, some of us make quilts for children at risk, we work with homeless and at-risk teens by providing cooking lessons and food in our church kitchen. Folks at CHUCC are regularly involved in the Faith Cafe - proving free weekly meals to hungry people in Beaverton.

This year, a large group of church friends worked together to help build at Habitat for Humanity home. Junior and Senior High youth contribute by participating in work/mission trips, sharing their energy and manpower for worthwhile causes around the country and even internationally.
