Welcome to worship at Cedar Hills United Church of Christ!
We are a proudly progressive congregation of the United Church of Christ, rooted in God’s love, mercy and justice. Every service opens with the saying “No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.”
We celebrate our diversity in spiritual background, sexual orientation, race, and abilities. You will find, I hope, music that is inspiring, sermons that are relevant, and community that is genuinely welcoming.
We worship at 10 am on Sundays. Children and youth spend the first 15 minutes in worship, then leave for Sunday School and Youth Group, where our talented team of Youth and Family Educators is ready to welcome your child.
After worship, we all join together for refreshments – a great opportunity to mix and mingle and experience community and fellowship. Children love our nature-friendly playground and have play dates with church friends. We have lots of fantastic kids in this congregation!
We share communion the first Sunday of each month. On these special communion Sundays, we keep an open table, as did Jesus, where everyone who seeks to celebrate God’s presence is welcome. Our youth help lead those monthly services.
Here at Cedar Hills United Church of Christ, we offer a spiritual home where together we experience the divine, explore our faith, practice spirituality, discover inclusive community, and serve the world.
